How To Increase Relationships
There are plenty of people for you to meet in Hinterberg, and each of them is unique. They have personalities, likes and dislikes, and a background prior to their time in Hinterberg.
Relationships can be improved by spending time with someone at the end of your day, chatting by the campfire, or by giving gifts. Building your relationships will take a bit of time but it's well worth the effort.
Some friendships, like with Alex, will progress naturally throughout the course of the game.
Some friendships can only be unlocked after meeting certain requirements, like completing a specific quest or raising your social stats. In these cases, check back often to see if you can make any further progress!
How To Give Gifts
You can buy several gifts in Hinterberg to give to your new friends, though not everyone will like what you give them.
You'll need to have hung out with someone previously to give them a gift.
You can only give someone a gift once a day, so make sure to stop by and deliver gifts once you return to the town for the evening. Below are the best gifts to give each person in Hinterberg:
