Fried chicken was served fresh and hot...I even got an extra piece.Service was pretty fast.The waitress was very nice and helpful.I'd definitely return to try something else.
The fish doesn't taste like catfish at all and is not very seasoned at all. The baked fish taste good with the onions and bell pepper but still needs more seasoning on the fish. Even the fried fish doesn't have any flavor. The sandwiches are pretty good. When you get a family portion they don't give you a family size portion of sides at all, just enough for one or maybe two people. Their prices are good considering fish is not cheap. The atmosphere is clean but nothing that says inviting. I always get my food to go. I imaging the food is frozen and thawed because non of it taste fresh.
Ordered take out so expected our food to be fresh. The fried green tomatoes, fried mushrooms and Philly chicken sandwich with fries were hot.Everything else was cold or barely room temperature. Very disappointing since I visited the location in Texarkana and received my food piping hot from the grease.Almost too hot to eat, but I didn't mind waiting for it to cool off.Considering we had a fairly large order I'm really surprised they didn't think enough to prepare everything fresh.The taste of the fish and the shrimp was not as good as the Texarkana location.I wanted to give this location a chance since it's closer to where my family lives, but I will not be back.Also not sure why we received 6 containers of tarter sauce for 3 pieces of fish.
